“We have a great, friendly environment where we work as a team and strive to help patients meet their goals. We have fun with our patients and make this a great experience for them!”
-Tracey Allison, MPT

“Have fun with all that you do and everyone around you will also,” Tracey says. It is this enthusiasm for life that makes Tracey a perfect candidate for helping individuals.

“I always wanted to be in the health field,” Tracey tells us. “I attended the UW-La Crosse for both my undergraduate degree and my Master of Physical Therapy.”

Tracey feels she made the right choice when it came to picking her career path.

“I really enjoy getting to know patients personally and helping them to decrease pain, etc. I also feel that I have excellent flexibility and adaptation to accommodate patient needs,” she tells us.

In addition to her degree in physical therapy, Tracey is certified in wound care and makes orthotics.

Tracey enjoys outdoor activities, so Portage is a great fit for someone with her talents and interests.

“I enjoy running, biking, fishing, hunting and gardening,” Tracey says. “I really like living out in the country. If I wasn’t in the medical field I’d probably be working outside as a landscaper or something along those lines.”
