"I'm proud that we offer high quality, compassionate care to our patients, with rapid access to more advanced resources if needed."

— Dr. Marc Biedermann

Dr. Marc Biedermann is a Board Certified Physician in our Emergency Medicine Department. He completed his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and his residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison. His past experiences include working as an EMT in college and medical school and service as a flight physician on UW Med Flight.

When not saving lives, Dr. Biedermann keeps his coworkers at Divine Savior entertained with his comedic skills (he used to perform with ComedyCity in Green Bay/DePere). "I have a lot of energy at work and I try to use that energy along with my sense of humor to make the work we do easier," adds Dr. Biedermann. "In the Emergency Department we have to work together as a team. We are all professionals with different but equally important skill sets and knowledge needed to help our patients."

Dr. Biedermann grew up in southeastern Wisconsin and enjoys all that our area has to offer. "I like that we are a smaller community," states Biedermann. "I'm proud of our great EMS system that initiates critical care at the scene, before you even get to the hospital. Our professionals in the Emergency Department are excellent.

"As an emergency physician, it isn't always possible to definitively diagnose or cure every condition or solve every problem in the short time we have with our patients. But, with the skill sets, professionals, and technology available to me in the emergency department, I can make a big difference in putting people in the right direction towards getting better."

In his free time Dr. Biedermann's diverse interests include enjoying cats, photography, improvisational comedy and home repairs. Above all, being with family is his favorite thing to do.
