"The most rewarding thing about medicine is that I am able to make a difference to people when they are in a situation where they are the most vulnerable and in need."

— Dr. Brad Rogowski

Dr. Brad Rogowski is a Board Certified Physician in our Emergency Medicine Department. He spent the first 8 years of his career as a mechanical engineer after completing his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. With the help and support of his wife, he decided to make a career change and train in the field of medicine.

Dr. Rogowski completed medical school at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his emergency medicine residency with St. James Hospital in Olympia Fields, Illinois before beginning his career in Wisconsin as an Emergency Medicine Physician.

Dr. Rogowski is not only determined and versatile, he also goes above and beyond when it comes to patient care. "I try to relate personally to each and every patient and family I see," states Dr. Rogowski.

He was raised in rural Illinois and enjoys that "Portage is a relatively smaller community that still maintains its small town feel and vibe and it's nice that residents have Divine Savior Healthcare so close by to serve as a local access point to great healthcare."

Dr. Rogowski enjoys doing anything with his wife and two sons. In his free time, his interests include woodworking, orienteering, home improvement projects, bicycling and occasionally racing cars.

"The best advice I've ever received is that there will always be more work or projects to do, taking time to enjoy your life and family is more important," states Dr. Rogowski.
