When asked what is the most rewarding aspect of his career, Andrew replies, "Helping an individual get back to their everyday life, regardless if it means getting back to a sport, work, or just being able to play with their kids." - Andrew Lacker, LAT

Andrew who grew up just down the road in Middleton, Wisconsin, says that it is the friendly attitudes of the residents here in the Portage area are just a few of the things that he likes most about serving at Divine Savior. He is proud of the contributions Divine Savior makes to the community by providing patients the utmost in care and going above and beyond for the people it serves.  How does Andrew go above and beyond for his patients each day? Easy. "I always try to have a smile on my face, a positive attitude, and a friendly demeanor."

When not helping the patients in his care, Andrew immerses himself in his favorite hobby: Brazilian Ju-Jitsu.  A practitioner for the last seven years, Andrew practices, teaches, and competes in the activity on a regular basis. Last year, he attained his brown belt in the sport.

"Some of the best advice I have ever been given came from a teacher of mine who said to not let the perceived difficulty of a personal goal or dream stop you from trying to achieve it.  If you want it enough, and are truly willing to give your all to reaching it, you can achieve almost anything."
