Clinics Recognized for Helping Patients Control Blood Pressure

Pictured above is right, Dr. Susan Kreckman, physician at Divine Savior Healthcare, accepting the plaque from Carrie Nevins, Executive Director at American Heart Association.
As we near Heart Month, the clinics at Divine Savior Healthcare are celebrating early! Their recent efforts in helping lower and control blood pressures in our community has been recognized by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Anne Allen, RN and Clinical Quality Improvement Coordinator at Divine Savior Healthcare shares, "This was our first year participating in Target:BP. This recognition was based on our 2016 data, where we achieved 68% blood pressure control. We improved on that in 2017 and are looking forward to continued improvements in 2018.
This recognition shows our commitment to reducing the number of people with uncontrolled blood pressure, which ultimately leads to a reduction in the number of people who suffer heart attacks and strokes. We were one of seven organizations in Wisconsin who submitted data and were recognized by the AHA."
