Divine Savior Healthcare is pleased to host our 33rd Annual Run/Walk on Saturday, June 1 at 8:30 a.m. in conjunction with 2013 Portage Canal Days.

This year’s Run/Walk will once again begin on our campus on Portage’s north side. Runners and walkers will start and stop near Tivoli, our residential facility, and follow a course that includes Hamilton Street, East Albert Street and Agency House Road. The 10K course will take runners out along the canal to the historic Indian Agency House and back.

Run/Walk online registration is now available or you can download a registration form to mail in with payment. Race fees are $20 per runner ($25 for registration on race day) and $15 per walker. For those families walking the 1 mile or 5k, a family rate of $40 for a group of 3 or more with minor children is available by calling (608) 745-6289.  Registration fees include a t-shirt, refreshments and eligibility for door prizes for all participants. In addition, runners receive electronic timing, free post-race massages, completion medals and trophies for top male and female finshers in each race. Registration is available onsite the day of the race, but t-shirts can not be guaranteed.

All runners will receive a timing chip which must be picked up on the morning of the race, so please plan accordingly. Race day registration will be available from 7:00-8:15 a.m.

All Run/Walk proceeds will go to support Divine Savior Healthcare’s Community Education Programs.

In addition, we are also pleased to host a Kite Flying Festival on our campus following the Run/Walk. This festival, featuring the Wisconsin Kiters Club, will take place across our campus from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Come see the professionals fly their magnificent kites, participate in a kite making workshop following the race and/or bring your own kite to fly – bring a lawn chair or blanket and have some free good old-fashioned family fun!

Free inflatable bounce house and activity course also available (weather permitting).
