The Partners of Divine Savior Healthcare are pleased to present their annual scholarship program for 2007!

The Partners will be awarding scholarships to graduating high school seniors or current college students seeking careers in a healthcare-related field. These awards are available to students who live in communities served by Divine Savior Healthcare.

Two $1,000 scholarships will be granted to students who are pursuing, at a minimum, a bachelor's degree in a health-related career. In addition, a $300 scholarship will be given to a student enrolled in an associate's degree program in a healthcare field through a technical school. The payments will be based upon the students' maintenance of a grade point average equivalent to a "C," and the continuance of an educational program in a health-related field.

Applications for the scholarships are available through high school guidance offices and at Divine Savior Healthcare, 2817 New Pinery Road (Highway 51 North), in Portage. If you have questions about the scholarship program, please contact Volunteer Services at Divine Savior Healthcare at 745-5166.

Applications and all additional required information must be received no later than Friday, March 30, 2007.

The Partners of Divine Savior Healthcare have sponsored scholarships for area students pursing healthcare-related degrees for over 20 years. The scholarships are made possible by the Partners' fund-raisers, some of which include the Divine Savior Healthcare Gift Shop, the annual Geranium Sale and Pecan Sale, and the annual holiday Love Light Tree program.
