Divine Savior Healthcare is pleased to introduce two physicians who recently joined our physician clinics in Portage.
We welcome Matthew Lynch, M.D., to its medical staff. Dr. Lynch is a general surgeon and joins Robert Schmus, M.D., in Divine Savior Healthcare Surgical Associates, Suite 101.
Dr. Lynch earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison. "I enjoy caring for patients and treating all aspects of their surgical issues," he states.
Dr. Lynch joins the community with his fiancée, Stevie, who will be teaching in the Portage Community School District. They enjoy traveling, exercising and hockey.

Divine Savior Healthcare is also pleased to welcome Steven Martin, M.D., to its medical staff. Dr. Martin is a board certified Family Medicine with Obstetrics physician and joins colleagues Brenda Blohm, M.D., Gayl Hamilton, M.D., Paul Kornaus, M.D., and Susan Kreckman, M.D. in Divine Savior's Family Medicine Clinic.
Dr. Martin earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa. "I chose to become a physician because I enjoy making a difference in people's lives," he states. "Helping people is what I like most about being a doctor."
Dr. Martin joins the Portage community with his wife and their five-year-old daughter, and the family is expecting their second child. They enjoy traveling, movies and camping.
