Nearly 300 people from south-central Wisconsin and beyond joined up downtown for Divine Savior Healthcare's 30th annual Canal Days Run/Walk on June 5th.
Funds raised at the Run/Walk support the community through health and education programs, such as the Heart Care program, numerous free or discounted screenings and much more.
Top finishers in the one-mile run were Nathan Hazard, 12, of Portage with a time of 7:09, and Alexandra Scherbert, 13, of Portage with a time of 7:40. In the 5K run, gold medals went to Hunter Weber, 16, of Marshall, who finished at 17:14, and Charlene Larson, 32, of Columbus, who clocked in at 19:47.
