Divine Savior Healthcare is pleased to once again offer a Grant/Forgivable Loan in order to promote and encourage the academic preparation for and excellence in healthcare careers. This award provides a renewable annual amount of $1,000 per year for up to five years. $250 of the annual amount is an outright grant to the student, and $750 is a forgivable loan.
The loan will be forgiven if the student accepts full time employment with Divine Savior Healthcare upon graduation and remains employed by Divine Savior Healthcare for two years. If the student chooses not to work at Divine Savior, he or she will need to repay the loaned monies, but no interest is charged on the outstanding balance as long as regular payments are being made.
The program is for students seeking a bachelors or masters degree and is awarded based upon academic achievement, field of study, and employment potential. A personal interview is required.
