Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Recognition Course
This offered course provides you with your initial training for advanced cardiac life support (ACLS). Learn how to respond in an emergency and possibly save a life. Survival rates increase when community members are trained and confident in their abilities to offer help.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Renewal Course
This course provides a renewal for former advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) training. Revisit your training and learn about any new advancements in life-saving techniques.
Babysitting Basics
Students will learn about the responsibilities of babysitting, child development, first aid and child/infant CPR. For students age 11 and older.
Basic Cardiac Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR) - Recognition, for NEW Providers
This program offers healthcare providers basic cardiac life support recognition for initial training. You will be instructed how to provide basic life-saving techniques that will give you the knowledge and confidence to respond in an emergency.
Basic Cardiac Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR) - RENEWAL
This renewal course revisits former training in basic cardiac life support for healthcare providers. You will be retrained in all initial techniques and instructed of any new advancements in life-saving methods.
Blood Drive
One blood donation can save up to three lives. Blood Center of Wisconsin is the provider of blood to Divine Savior Healthcare. Help us make sure we have the supply we need to help your friends and neighbors should they every need it. One hour of your time is all it takes!
Breastfeeding Workshop
This FREE one-day workshop will introduce parents-to-be about the latest information on breastfeeding. Topics include proper techniques, what to expect, and the benefits of breastfeeding in today’s world.
Childbirth Education Classes
This comprehensive five-week course introduces parents-to-be to the fundamentals of childbirth. Topics covered include: pain control options, relaxation techniques, the labor process, C-sections, preparing for your baby, breastfeeding, and a tour of Divine Savior Healthcare’s Birthing Center.   
Cholesterol Screening
According to the American Heart Association, high cholesterol is a major controllable risk factor for heart attack, stroke and heart disease. A quick screening could potentially save your life, or the life of a loved one.
Club Scrub for Students!
Once again, Divine Savior Healthcare will be hosting a fun-filled Club Scrub program this school year.   Club Scrub is an after-school program designed to spark interest in health-related careers among 7th and 8th grade students through informative, hands-on activities.

Free Blood Pressure Screening
High blood pressure can cause injury or even death according to the American Heart Association. Heartsaver Basic First Aid for the Community

You don’t need to have anxiety about the unexpected. Be prepared!

Divine Savior Healthcare's Sports Medicine Team announces summer programs to enhance athleticism for athletes in Portage, Pardeeville and Poynette.
Is Athletic Training in YOUR Future?
WANTED: High school students interested in caring for sports injuries or other health care careers. Join us for a 4-day summer program, complete with CPR certification and AED training, presented by the professionals at Divine Savior Healthcare.
Leaps Toward Literacy Program
Starting December 1, 2012, each child age 0-12 will receive a book at any well-child, Urgent Care, Emergency Room or Inpatient Surgery visit at Divine Savior Healthcare and the Dean and UW Clinics.
Leaps Toward Literacy Santa Fly-in
Divine Savior Healthcare, along with the Dean and UW Clinics, is pleased to launch our Leaps Toward Literacy program with Santa Claus on Friday, November 23rd. Santa will be flying in to the Portage Municipal Airport at 10:00 a.m. to deliver books to the first 100 children.

Wisconsin Well Woman Program
If you are a woman ages 45-64 who is unable to pay for a mammogram or preventative health checkups, you may be eligible for the Wisconsin Well Woman Program. This program provides selected preventative health screenings such as mammograms and Pap smear tests to low income, uninsured or underinsured women at no cost. Certain age, income and insurance guidelines apply.
